Prototypes provide a vital means of evaluating and proving concepts and designs, whether to assess an early mechanical principle or to provide a final, physical product representation for testing and verification prior to tooling investment.

As prototyping technologies advance continually, we use a large number of different suppliers, both in the UK and in China. We often combine different technologies to give the best balance between cost, lead time and performance, depending on the properties and type of function we're looking for from a prototype.
