About Mike

A graduate of the 'golden years' of Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in 1992, Mike worked for a few years in the model-making industry before being given the post of in-house design consultant with the Tools for Living team at Brunel University, and was part of the design team that received three Millennium Product Awards, in 2000.

Mike is an all-rounder industrial designer and design engineer, he’s passionate about mechanical usability and interaction, and tends to lead the more technically demanding projects.

Before leaving London he also sat on the board of the industry trade body, British Design Innovation; and he has also set up a consultancy for strategy and design for the Circular Economy, called FutureMade.
